Robyn Gamble – Owner / Visiting Teacher

Kia Ora, Talofa, Hello my name is Robyn Gamble and I am the owner manager here at Busy Bodies Childcare Invercargill. I have been teaching for over 28 years in Early Childhood 22 of those in Home Based Care and Education which I am very passionate about. I have also worked in Childcare Centre’s and Kindergartens across Southland and Christchurch. I am fully registered and have a Bachelor of Education (Teaching).
My philosophy is that every child has a right to quality early childhood education with adults who care, support and guide their children’s learning through positive play experiences. I believe that that key to unlock and grow each child’s potential is through relationships. Home based is the best place to do this as the children and their family/ whānau have the strongest relationships with their Educators.
My family/whānau consists of myself and two grown up children Nick and Tim and my grand children Ella and Sydney. I hope to get to know you and your family whānau through our new journey.

Kia ora, Goeiedag!  I am Charmain Hendrikz, Visiting Teacher for Busy Bodies Childcare.  I have worked in the Early Childhood sector for the past 15 years, with the last 4 of those in home-base care.  I am passionate about home-base care and education and believe a relaxed, loving and creative home environment is the foundation of setting up our Tamariki to grow up as confident and competent life -long learners.  I am also a firm believer that the small group sizes in home-based care results in quality learning outcomes for our Tamariki.  I value each child, their whanau and our educator’s unique ways of being and doing.

I am committed to working alongside our amazing Educators to enable our children to have the best start in life.  My personal philosophy is strongly underpinned by whanaungatanga, where we build reciprocal relationships through shared experiences and working together as a team, with the child’s best interest at heart.

I am originally from South Africa and have moved to New Zealand 16 years ago with my husband Nico and our son Jaden.
